The Shamrock opened its doors on 11 November 2009 and fills a previous void and growing demand for an Irish pub in Tsim Sha Tsui's ever-popular Ashley Road precinct.

Under the management of Top Solutions Development, The Shamrock concept was the brainchild of visionary Hong Kong entertainment and hospitality entrepreneur, Paul Buxton.

The Shamrock hails as the Hong Kong headquarters of "craic" - humour, fun and good times – in a setting reminiscent of a traditional Irish village pub.

Prior to the opening of The Shamrock, Paul Buxton established Top Solutions Development and opened his own themed sports bar now acknowledged as Wanchai's most popular venue, The DOGHOUSE.

Buxton is also acknowledged as the original driving force responsible for the growth and expansion of Hong Kong's popular Bulldog's Bar & Grill and Quarterdeck Seafood Restaurant & Grill outlets.

Paul originally honed his entrepreneurial skills as Managing Director of Mad Dogs International Hong Kong and Mad Dogs San Antonio Texas. Under his direction the company witnessed the rapid growth of Hong Kong's popular Mad Dogs and Joe Bananas food and beverage outlets.
